As a Custom Home Apprentice Electrician at TEC Electric, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects under the guidance of experienced electricians. You will be involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in custom homes and other residential properties.
Essential Functions
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems in custom homes, multi-family units, and remodel projects.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to learn and apply industry best practices.
- Perform tasks involving hand tools and power tools, ensuring all work complies with local electrical codes.
- Participate in conduit bending tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient installations.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean worksite.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately, with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in the electrical field, with a focus on residential projects.
- Possession of a valid electrical license for the state of California.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools, demonstrating practical application skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification, demonstrating a commitment to safety and industry standards.
- Experience with conduit bending, showcasing technical skills and expertise.

- The primary location for this position is Anaheim, CA.
- Neighboring cities include Fullerton, Orange, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Buena Park.
- This is a full-time position, requiring availability for typical work hours and occasional weekends or evenings as project needs dictate.
