The Cable Tech position at HCI Systems involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems in office buildings across Anaheim, CA, and neighboring cities. The role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure that all cabling meets industry standards and project requirements.

Requirements for Cable Tech

• Key responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables; troubleshoot and resolve cable issues; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Daily tasks: Perform site surveys, prepare and maintain records, collaborate with project managers and clients, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Project involvement: Participate in planning and execution of cable installations for new office buildings and upgrades to existing infrastructures.

Qualifications for Cable Tech at HCI Systems

• 2-4 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: BICSI Technician.
• Experience with cable management systems and cable testers.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: OSHA 10.
• Experience with fiber optic tools.

Compensation & Benefits
