Overview
As a Life Safety Security Alarm Project Manager at Koorsen, you will be responsible for overseeing fire alarm projects from inception to completion. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, project management, and safety regulations. You will be tasked with ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance while being completed on time and within budget.
Essential Functions
- Manage all aspects of fire alarm projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
- Conduct thorough code analysis to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize estimating tools to develop accurate project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress using project management software and address any issues that arise.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on-site to protect both personnel and property.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of electrical experience with a focus on fire alarm systems.
- Valid electrical license for the state of California.
- Proven experience with code analysis and estimating tools.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in using project management software.
- Prior experience managing fire alarm projects is highly desirable.
Location & Schedule
- This position is based in Anaheim, CA, and serves the surrounding areas, including Fullerton, Orange, Garden Grove, and Stanton.
- Full-time position with regular working hours.
