Job Overview: Prime Partners is currently seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Anaheim, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining voice, data and wireless communications systems. Our projects focus on commercial work, primarily new construction and big-box retail. In this role, you will work on-site in Anaheim or neighboring cities such as Fullerton, Buena Park, Garden Grove, and Orange.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation of voice and data systems in new construction and big box retail environments.

2. Maintenance and troubleshooting of issues to ensure systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

3. Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.

4. Configuring and testing equipment to ensure it meets the client’s requirements and industry standards.

5. Performing regular inspections of systems to identify and fix any potential issues.

6. Keeping up-to-date documentation of all installed and maintained systems.

7. Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations at all times.

8. Providing technical support and guidance to clients and team members when necessary.

9. Collaborating with project managers and other technical staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician, preferably in the electrical industry.

2. Knowledge of voice, data, and wireless communications systems.

3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.

4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

8. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a related field is a plus.

9. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different project sites in and around Anaheim.

10. Certification from a recognized institution in the field of Voice & Data Technology would be an added advantage.
