Job Description: Prime Partners is searching for an experienced and motivated Voice & Data Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on the electrical industry, particularly in commercial work involving new construction and big box retail. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting voice and data systems within the specified regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and wireless communications systems.

2. Inspect and service telecommunication devices in frequent use for business operations.

3. Maintain inventory of equipment and tools needed to perform job functions.

4. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.

5. Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working correctly.

6. Review and recommend modifications to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

7. Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, type, and serial number.

8. Create a clean, professional, and safe work environment at all times.

9. Collaborate with team members and other staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician or similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of voice, data, and video systems.

4. Knowledge of industry-specific tools and equipment.

5. Familiarity with blueprints and installation manuals.

6. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.

7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

8. Strong attention to detail.

9. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

10. Willingness to travel within the serviced regions (Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix).

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

2. Comfortable working in high and tight spaces.

3. Ability to distinguish different colors for cable identification.

4. Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
