Job Overview: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be based in Tempe, AZ, but will also service our clients in the surrounding cities including Chandler, Scottsdale, Mesa, and Phoenix. As a Journeyman Electrician, your primary role will be to install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers for safety and functionality.
2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
5. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
6. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
7. Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
8. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
9. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
3. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
4. Demonstrable ability to follow electrical code manuals.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
2. Valid license to practice profession in Arizona.
3. Proven experience in the electrical field.
4. Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
5. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Reliable and self-motivated.
