Job Title: Voice & Data Technician Company: Prime Partners Location: Irvine, CA

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician for projects focused on electrical industry specifics for commercial work, primarily new construction and big box retail. The successful candidate will install, test, and troubleshoot various types of voice and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, termination, and testing of voice and data cables and related equipment.
2. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics to properly install and test all voice and data systems.
3. Testing and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
4. Handling of fiber optic cable including fusion splicing and testing.
5. Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated.
6. Collaborating with team members and other trades to ensure efficient and effective installations.
7. Complying with all safety and health regulations.
8. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.
9. Ability to work in various locations around Irvine, including Santa Ana, Orange, Costa Mesa, and Tustin.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in voice and data installation, preferably in the electrical industry for commercial work.
3. Knowledge of industry standards and protocols.
4. Proficient in the use of all tools and equipment related to voice and data installations.
5. Familiarity with electrical codes related to voice and data installations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
8. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
10. BICSI certification is a plus.
