Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Irvine, CA (also serving surrounding cities like Tustin, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Lake Forest)

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Irvine, CA. This individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical tasks, from installation to maintenance and repair. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry and be able to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with state and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements.
2. Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
3. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and conduct repairs promptly.
4. Install, replace, and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.
5. Fabricate, install, and/or run conduit, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and distribution apparatus.
6. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems.
7. Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the standards of the National Electrical Code.
8. Collaborate with project managers and other electrical team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
9. Train apprentices and other team members on job procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a valid state Journeyman Electrician’s License.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local codes.
4. Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
5. Strong understanding of safety practices and legal regulations.
6. High level of professionalism with excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

1. Completion of Electrician Apprenticeship.
2. Experience working with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
4. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
