Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Irvine, CA. The Apprentice Electrician will work closely with our team of journeyman electricians and master electricians to learn the trade and contribute to the company’s electrical projects. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist journeyman and master electricians with installing and maintaining electrical systems.

2. Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

3. Learn to troubleshoot electrical systems under the guidance of skilled electricians.

4. Perform basic tasks such as wiring, conduit installations, and wiring terminations.

5. Follow all safety rules and regulations according to OSHA guidelines.

6. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.

7. Assist in the installation of electrical panels, circuits, switches, outlets, and electrical fixtures.

8. Update daily work logs and communicate effectively with the team.

9. Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Valid California Electrical Trainee Card.

3. Some experience or education in electrical work is preferred.

4. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and plans.

5. Physical ability to work in different conditions, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.

6. Strong commitment to safety protocols.

7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

8. Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

1. Must be enrolled in a state-approved electrician trainee program and committed to completing the program.

2. Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

3. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
