Job Title: Security Technician

Prime Partners is seeking a seasoned Security Technician with at least 2 years of experience installing security systems in commercial properties such as office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial structures. This opportunity is for an individual who is highly skilled, dedicated, and able to ensure the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of commercial security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and intercom systems.

2. Perform system programming and setup for new installations.

3. Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs, or replacements.

4. Provide technical support to clients, educating them on the use of their security systems.

5. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

6. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure installations are completed on schedule.

7. Prepare documentation, including installation diagrams and operation manuals.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing commercial security systems.

2. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a related field is a plus.

3. Certifications such as Certified Alarm/Security Technician (CAST), Electronic Security Networking Technician (ESNT), or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are preferred.

4. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Proficiency in using various tools and equipment such as drills, multimeters, crimp tools, IP setup tools.

2. Knowledge of IP systems, networks, and structured cabling.

3. Familiarity with top security system brands and their components.

Safety Requirements:

1. Knowledge of safety protocols and standards in the industry.

2. Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly.

3. Adherence to OSHA safety regulations.
