Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience for our growing team in San Jose, CA. Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings and hospitals.
2. Regular inspection, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 standards.
3. Troubleshooting and repair of various fire alarm systems, ensuring their optimal functionality.
4. Maintain accurate records of all inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
5. Provide technical support to customers, explaining system operations and resolving any issues or concerns.
6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national fire safety regulations.
7. Respond promptly to emergency call-outs, diagnosing system faults, and making necessary repairs.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
3. Valid Fire Alarm Technician license.
4. NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
6. Excellent knowledge of local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge: Candidates must have experience in using various tools and equipment related to fire alarm systems, including multimeters, amp meters, electronic test equipment, hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts.

3. Complete all necessary safety training and certifications.
