What You’ll Do as an Apprentice Electrician

As an Apprentice Electrician at Prime Partners, you’ll be an integral part of our team working on a multi-year project in Chandler, AZ, with additional projects in neighboring cities such as Gilbert, Mesa, and Tempe. Your role will revolve around supporting licensed electricians in various electrical installations, ensuring that each project runs smoothly and efficiently. Your Daily Tasks as an Apprentice Electrician

Assist our skilled electricians in the installation of both residential and commercial electrical systems. Your day-to-day duties will include wiring outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. You’ll gain hands-on experience by pulling and routing electrical cables through walls, ceilings, and conduits, as well as preparing conduit and helping to mount electrical boxes and panels.

Maintain job site organization is crucial, so you’ll be responsible for managing inventory and preparing tools to ensure everything is in place for the day’s tasks. You’ll also engage in labeling wires and performing clean-up activities to support the project’s progress. As part of your learning journey, you’ll shadow experienced electricians, allowing you to develop a deep understanding of electrical installations and safety practices.

In addition to these core tasks, you’ll also perform basic troubleshooting under supervision, assist in the testing of electrical systems, and participate in safety meetings and briefings to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
