Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Chandler, AZ

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Chandler, AZ. You will be required to perform a variety of electrical tasks, providing quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
2. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
3. Run tests and diagnose problems in electrical systems or equipment.
4. Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment.
5. Utilize hand and power tools and electrical and electronic test equipment.
6. Remain in compliance with the current National Electric Code.
7. Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards.
8. Communicate any problems or concerns with supervisors, staff, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

1. A valid Journeyman Electrician license is mandatory.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Expert knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
4. Experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical systems.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
8. Good physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
9. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician.

Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license.
2. Ability to travel within Chandler and surrounding cities including Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, and Phoenix.
3. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
4. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move medium to heavy objects.
5. Must be able to work in different environments including outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as tight spaces and at height.
6. Must be willing to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
