Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading provider of security solutions, is looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in installing security systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties primarily in Chandler, AZ, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and other security-related systems.
2. Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs or replacements.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
4. Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot and perform repairs as necessary.
5. Communicate with clients, customers, and team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
6. Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a security technician.
3. Certified Alarm Technician Level I is required.
4. Preferred certifications include Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) and Physical Security Professional (PSP).
5. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
6. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Experience with hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
2. Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
3. Knowledge of specific security systems such as Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, Genetec, and Avigilon.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

1. Must always adhere to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
2. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
3. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
