Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. This position will require you to perform a variety of tasks relating to both the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in new construction office buildings and hospitals. We are looking for both Apprentice and Journeyman level skillsets. This position will be based in Chandler, AZ, but will also cover surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
10. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Experience working as an electrician.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Electrician degree from a technical college is a plus.
5. Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, and maintenance and repair knowledge.
6. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
7. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools and electrical drawings and blueprints.
8. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
9. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
10. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
11. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
12. Valid license to practice profession.

Service Area:

The primary service area includes Chandler and surrounding cities.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

Candidates should be familiar with various tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, electric drills, and testing equipment such as ammeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

The candidate must adhere to all company’s safety rules and policies. This includes the use of personal protective equipment, avoiding electrical hazards, and following proper lockout/tagout procedures.
