Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading provider of electrical solutions in San Francisco, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the electrical industry and will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both commercial and residential settings. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, commitment to safety, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with national and local codes.
2. Perform regular inspections to identify defects in the electrical systems and recommend repairs or upgrades as needed.
3. Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
4. Collaborate with construction and architectural teams on new construction to draft electrical plans and set up systems.
5. Diagnose and repair faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
6. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
7. Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
8. Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
9. Provide guidance and supervision to apprentice electricians.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Valid California Journeyman Electrician license.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
6. Working knowledge of electrical and building codes.
7. Ability to diagnose and solve electrical problems efficiently.
8. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
9. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11. Availability to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as required.
12. High school diploma or equivalent.
13. Reliable transportation to and from different job sites within the designated area.
14. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
