Controls Technician at IES Electric

We have an exciting opportunity at IES Electric for a Building Controls Technician in Nashville, TN. This role is perfect for those who have a keen interest in BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens), HVAC controls, and energy management systems. Required Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Building Controls Technician.
• Expertise in BAS/BMS systems (Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens).
• Experience with HVAC controls and energy management systems.
• Proficiency in DDC programming, VFD configuration, and mechanical systems integration.
• Familiarity with Niagara Framework, Tridium, and LON/BACnet protocols.
• NEBB Building Systems Technical Certification, OSHA-30, and EPA Universal certification are mandatory.
• Experience with working in and around Nashville and its neighboring cities such as Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Franklin, and Hendersonville.

Nice to have skills

• Previous experience with system commissioning and multi-site maintenance.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with building management systems.
• Experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Background in electrical engineering or a related field.
