Key Responsibilities

• Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs to optimize production efficiency.
• Commission automated production lines to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis on system failures to implement effective corrective actions.
• Implement predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis and thermal imaging to prevent equipment failures.
• Design and install complex motor control circuits tailored to specific industrial applications.
• Manage electrical spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components.
• Train apprentices on industrial systems to cultivate a skilled workforce.
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers for complex repairs and technical support.
• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance tasks to streamline operations.
• Perform power quality analysis and harmonic mitigation to enhance system reliability.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections in compliance with Tennessee state regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with local utility providers for energy optimization and efficiency improvements in the Nashville area.
• Engage with community-based initiatives to support local workforce development in the electrical trades.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced certification in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial networking protocols such as EtherNet/IP and Profibus.
• Expertise in VFD programming and troubleshooting for diverse industrial applications.
• Proficiency with thermal imaging and vibration analysis equipment for predictive maintenance.
• Ability to read and create AutoCAD electrical drawings with precision.
• Experience with SCADA systems and HMI programming to optimize control systems.
• Proven leadership skills in a maintenance environment, with a focus on team development.
• Understanding of IEEE standards for industrial power quality and their application in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience required for Journeyman work in an industrial setting.

• Previous experience working in the manufacturing hubs of the Nashville metropolitan area.
