Black Box Voice & Data, a leader in cutting-edge communication solutions, is seeking a skilled Security Alarm Installer for our Nashville, TN location. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with 2-4 years of experience looking to make an impact by safeguarding some of the most dynamic businesses in the region, from Fortune 500 companies and tech startups to financial institutions. As part of a specialized team, you’ll work primarily on a second shift, maximizing efficiency and customer interaction during off-peak hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems including intrusion detection, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with a team of 3-5 professionals to deliver high-quality services to our clients.
• Provide technical assistance and training to clients on system usage and troubleshooting.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
• Prepare detailed reports on installation and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of proven experience in security system installation.
• ASIS PSP and NICET Level II certifications.
• Proficiency with intrusion detection, CCTV, access control systems, and IP camera technologies.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of Nashville.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security+ certification.
• Additional experience with tech startups or financial institutions is a plus.
• NICET Level III certification.
