• Daily Tasks: Perform site surveys, troubleshoot network issues, terminate and test cables, and document work performed.
• Project Involvement: Participate in planning and execution phases of network installations for educational institutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Qualifications for Cable Technician at Convergint

• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in network cabling.
• Required Certification: Network+ Certification.
• Experience with: Proficiency in using wire mapping tools and termination equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.

• Additional Certification: BICSI Technician certification is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $29.86-$35.67 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
