Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: San Bernardino, CA

Job Description:

Prime Partners is currently seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in San Bernardino, CA. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential areas. This role will also include servicing electrical equipment and systems in surrounding cities such as Rialto, Fontana, Redlands, and Rancho Cucamonga.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
2. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
3. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.
4. Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
5. Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code.
6. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
7. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
8. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
9. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
10. Provide professional assessments and advice for customers.
11. Showcase strong knowledge of electrical systems including planning, layout, and installation of electrical systems.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
3. Experience working as an electrician.
4. Proficient knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Valid driver’s license.
9. Valid Journeyman license in the state of California.

Requirements:

1. Must pass a drug and background screen.
2. Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects.
3. Ability to ascend/descend ladders.
4. Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
5. Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces.
6. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the current National Electric Code.
7. Display strong communication and customer service skills.
