As a Field Operations Security Alarm Project Manager at West Coast Fire, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful implementation of security alarm systems. Working in a fast-paced project management environment, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, design teams, and field operations staff to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Essential Functions

• Project Planning and Management: Lead and manage all aspects of security alarm projects from initiation through completion, including scope definition, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements and expectations.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and field operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards and company quality guidelines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any issues encountered.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure that all team members are following safety protocols.

Required certifications for this position include PRINCE2 and CAPM. Candidates must have a solid background in utilizing design software, estimating tools, and project management software. Typical projects will involve new construction, tenant improvements, and renovations.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a focus on security alarm systems.
• Licensing: A valid electrical license for NV.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with design software and estimating tools.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks related to field operations, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in the construction and electrical industries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software is highly desirable.
• Project Experience: Prior experience managing project management projects, particularly in security alarms or fire protection systems.

Location & Schedule

The primary location for this position is Las Vegas, NV. Our operations extend to the surrounding areas, which include neighboring cities such as Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Paradise. This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility to meet project demands and deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits
