This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and connectivity of data centers, supporting educational facilities both in Las Vegas and in neighboring cities. The candidate will be responsible for executing projects with precision, adhering to industry standards, and collaborating effectively with team members to meet project timelines and specifications.

Essential Functions for Data Center Cable Tech

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables in data centers and educational institutions.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of network cabling systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to review project plans and specifications.
• Utilize Fluke Testing Equipment to test and certify network cabling installations.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and service logs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all phases of project execution.

Required Qualifications for Data Center Cable Tech at MMR Group

• 3-6 years of experience in data center cabling or a related field.
• Must possess Panduit Certification.
• Proficient in using Fluke Testing Equipment and working with Corning Fiber Systems.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools, and work in various physical positions.

Preferred Qualifications

• BICSI Data Center Design certification is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in using Fluke Testing Equipment.
• Specialized experience in educational institution projects.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in network cabling installations.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Las Vegas, NV
• Additional locations: Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Paradise, NV
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime and weekend work based on project needs.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $28.73-$34.3 per hour
