Audio Visual Technician at Black Box
Position Overview
Join Black Box Voice & Data as an Audio Visual Technician in Las Vegas, NV, where cutting-edge technology meets educational innovation. You will work during our second shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, to deliver seamless audio visual solutions within universities, K-12 schools, and training centers. As part of a specialized team of 3-5 professionals, you will enhance learning environments through state-of-the-art audio visual systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot sound reinforcement systems, control systems, digital signal processors, and video walls.
- Collaborate with educational clients to customize AV solutions that enhance their instructional capabilities.
- Maintain and repair AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Provide technical support and training to educators and staff on AV system usage.
- Travel regularly to nearby major cities for installations and client meetings.
- Manage project timelines and ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an audio visual technician role.
- CTS-I and Biamp Certified.
- Proficiency in handling and integrating audio visual tools and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced CTS-I and Biamp certifications.
- Experience with a variety of AV systems in educational settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
