Position Overview at Vision Technologies

We are seeking an experienced AV Systems Tech to join our team, focusing on healthcare facilities projects in Detroit, MI, and surrounding areas. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation within healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver tailored AV solutions that enhance communication and functionality in medical settings.

Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech

• Install, configure, and maintain audiovisual systems, including displays, projectors, and control systems, primarily in healthcare facilities.
• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess client needs and develop customized AV solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on AV system operations.
• Document system configurations, maintenance activities, and client interactions.

Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at Vision Technologies

• 3-5 years of experience in audiovisual systems installation and support.
• Required certification: Crestron Certification.
• Proficiency in Crestron Control Systems and AMX Control Systems.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks associated with AV installations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: Biamp Certification.
• Advanced experience with Crestron Control Systems.
• Specialized experience in AV systems within healthcare facilities.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in AV installations.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Detroit, MI.
• Additional locations: Warren, Dearborn, Southfield, Livonia, and Ann Arbor.
• Schedule: Full-time, with occasional travel to project sites within the designated region.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.68-$36.22 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
