Position Overview

As a Multi-Family Journeyman Electrician, you will play a vital role in supporting the electrical infrastructure of multifamily residential projects across Detroit and surrounding areas. Your expertise will contribute to the efficient and safe completion of projects, ensuring that MMR Group maintains its high standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in multi-family residential buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.

Experience and Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in the electrical field, specifically in residential and multifamily settings.
• Journeyman Electrician license required for the state of Michigan.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
