Security Technician at Telco Data

Position Overview

Telco Data, a leader in security technologies, is seeking an experienced Security Tech professional to join our Alexandria, VA team. This role will primarily focus on supporting security technologies in healthcare environments - hospitals, medical centers, and clinics throughout the region. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team of 10+ experts, providing outstanding technical service within a 100-mile radius. Standard business hours apply with the potential for emergency out-of-hours support as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of IP Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection systems.
• Ensure the security systems comply with regulations and security policies
• Regularly liaise with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
• Provide troubleshooting and emergency response to system alerts and issues
• Participate in regular team meetings and technical training sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
• Certifications: ASIS PSP, Security+
• Proven experience with IP Camera Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV, Intrusion Detection
• Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive experience within the healthcare environment
• Knowledge of regional security regulations and requirements
• Additional certifications in security technology
