Overview of Retail Junior Project Manager Role

As a Retail Junior Project Manager at Safe and Sound, you will play a crucial role in supporting commercial projects from inception to completion. This position is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills, a passion for project management, and a desire to work in a dynamic commercial environment. You will work closely with senior project managers and other team members to ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. Essential Functions

• Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing commercial electrical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
• Participate in the preparation and review of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Utilize design software and code analysis tools to contribute to project planning and execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Support in the preparation of project estimates and proposals using estimating tools.
• Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for CA.
• Proficiency in design software and code analysis tools.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with estimating tools and techniques.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, or schools.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Stockton, CA.
• Neighboring cities include Lodi, Manteca, Tracy, and Lathrop, CA.
• Schedule: Full-time, with occasional overtime required to meet project deadlines.
