Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Stockton, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electrical industry, with a focus on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Perform general electrical maintenance.
3. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
4. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
5. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
6. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
7. Circuits wiring for commercial and residential projects.
8. Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and ordering supplies and equipment.
9. Work in a variety of locations within the Stockton, CA area and the surrounding cities, including Lodi, Tracy, Modesto, Manteca, and Brentwood.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Experience working as a journeyman electrician.
3. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
8. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
9. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. Valid California State General Electrician Certification.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
3. Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
4. Must be able to work independently and complete tasks on schedule.
5. Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and on physical tasks.
6. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with a team.
7. Must be willing to follow all company procedures and safety requirements.
