Overview of the Commercial Journeyman Electrician Role

As a Commercial Journeyman Electrician at Howell Electric, you will play a crucial role in executing and managing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in a commercial environment. Essential Functions

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial projects.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems using advanced test equipment.
• Bend and install conduit to specified measurements.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications

• Valid electrical license for CA.

• Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Confined Space certification.
• Experience with interpreting and applying code books.

• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $38.91-$46.46 per hour
