Prime Partners is a renowned name in the electrical industry, particularly in the commercial sector, with a special focus on new construction and big box retail. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Stockton, CA, and the surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and maintenance of voice and data systems in commercial environments, particularly in new constructions and big box retail outlets.
2. Troubleshoot and repair voice and data systems, including fiber optic and copper-based systems.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.
4. Conducting system tests and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
5. Ensuring all installations and repairs comply with applicable codes and regulations.
6. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
7. Documenting all completed installations and repairs.
8. Providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational training program in voice/data communications or a related field.
3. At least 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician, preferably in the commercial sector.
4. Proficient in installing and repairing copper and fiber optic systems.
5. Excellent understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.
7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong communication and customer service skills.
10. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
11. Willingness to travel to job sites in Stockton and surrounding cities.
12. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
