We are seeking a highly skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team and help us continue to provide unparalleled services to our clients in Phoenix and the surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install and troubleshoot voice and data systems in commercial settings, primarily in new construction and big box retail environments.
2. Perform installation of structured cabling systems, including CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling.
3. Carry out all work in accordance with electrical codes and safety standards.
4. Utilize test equipment to ensure proper working of installed systems.
5. Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered.
6. Coordinate with construction contractors and other professionals on site.
7. Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to installations and service calls.
8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Vocational training or associate degree in a related field is preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a voice/data technician or a similar role in the electrical industry.
4. Proficient knowledge of voice and data systems, as well as structured cabling systems.
5. Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable mode of transportation.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
2. Ability to climb ladders, work in tight spaces and stand for long periods.
3. Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
