Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading provider of electrical solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role is focused on installing and maintaining electrical systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience and a solid understanding of commercial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial properties.
2. Perform electrical system assessments and prepare job reports detailing system status and recommendations for improvements.
3. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
4. Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
5. Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
6. Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve electrical issues.
7. Collaborate with construction project managers to ensure electrical work is completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Valid Arizona Journeyman Electrician license.
2. Minimum of 4 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
3. Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Equipment Knowledge:

Candidates must be familiar with a variety of tools and equipment, including voltage testers, ammeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imagers, wire strippers, and conduit benders.

Safety Requirements:

All employees are expected to understand and adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. This includes wearing personal protective equipment and ensuring all installations and repairs are conducted in line with safety codes.
