Job Title: Commercial Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Phoenix, AZ

Job Description: Prime Partners is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for new construction projects with a focus on office buildings and hospitals in Phoenix, AZ, and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems as per existing codes and standards. We are keen on hiring both Apprentice and Journeyman level electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
2. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while observing all safety laws and regulations.
3. Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control devices.
4. Test continuity of electrical circuits and equipment to ensure the compatibility and safety of the system.
5. Use testing devices to troubleshoot problems in electrical systems.
6. Work with project managers and construction crew to complete projects within deadlines.
7. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Valid Arizona Electrician license (Journeyman or Apprentice level)
2. Minimum of 2 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience for Apprentice level, 4 years for Journeyman level.
3. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
4. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
5. Must be able to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of the use of electrical installation tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers.
2. Experience in using electrical test meters and ohmmeters.
3. Familiarity with power tools and their usage in electrical work.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

1. Compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures.
2. Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations such as lockout/tagout.
3. Ability to identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
4. Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
