Job Overview: Prime Partners is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Pasadena, CA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the electrical industry, with experience in new construction and big box retail. The Voice & Data Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of voice and data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, and maintain voice and data systems in commercial buildings, with a focus on new construction and big box retail.
2. Troubleshoot and repair telecommunications systems, including data networks and voice communication systems.
3. Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations.
4. Install cable pathways, and cable supports.
5. Identify and rectify faults in network hardware and software.
6. Ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
7. Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in voice and data systems installation and maintenance.
4. Experience in the electrical industry, particularly in commercial settings and new construction.
5. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
6. Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
7. Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools.
8. BICSI certification or equivalent is preferred.
9. Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
10. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
11. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
