Security Technician at Prime Partners

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Security Technician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join our team at Prime Partners. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining security systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties in Pasadena, CA, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain various types of security systems including but not limited to access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems.
• Conduct site assessments to identify potential security risks and develop appropriate security solutions.
• Work closely with clients to ensure systems meet their specific needs and requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of security systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Provide technical support to clients and train them on how to use the systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures and carry out necessary repairs.
• Document all work performed and maintain records of service calls.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Security Technician.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in a related field is a plus.
• Certification from a recognized security system manufacturer such as Bosch, Honeywell, or Tyco is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
• Proficiency in using various types of testing equipment and tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
