Prime Partners, a leading electrical solutions provider in the commercial sector, is seeking a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Mesa, AZ. We focus mainly on new construction and big box retail projects. The successful candidate will also cover surrounding cities including Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and maintenance of various types of voice and data equipment such as cables, routers, switches, and servers.
2. Testing and troubleshooting of voice and data systems to ensure optimal functionality.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics to understand the layout of electrical systems.
4. Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols during the installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
5. Coordinating and cooperating with other team members to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Providing excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
7. Conducting regular inspections of voice and data systems to identify and fix issues before they escalate.
8. Keeping abreast of advancements in technology to improve performance and efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an apprenticeship, vocational training, or an associate degree in a related field.
3. A valid state-issued Electrician’s License.
4. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician in the electrical industry, preferably in the commercial sector.
5. Proficiency in the installation, repair, and maintenance of voice and data systems.
6. Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
7. Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Outstanding customer service skills.
10. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
11. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to surrounding cities for work.
