Commercial Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Description:

Position: Commercial Journeyman Electrician Location: Mesa, AZ Company: Prime Partners

Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 4 years of electrical experience. The ideal candidate should be proficient in installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. The job involves working on new construction projects such as office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties across Mesa and surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
10. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications and Certifications:

1. A valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Proven experience as an Electrician.
3. Experience in commercial and industrial electrical systems.
4. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
5. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
6. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
7. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Service Area:

The primary service area for this role includes Mesa, AZ, and surrounding cities. Regular travel to various job sites will be required.

Must follow all safety policy and procedures and wear the necessary personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner.
