Position: Fire Alarm Technician Location: Mesa, AZ Company: Prime Partners

Prime Partners, a leading provider of commercial electrical services in the Mesa, AZ area, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field and will be familiar with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, and existing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and program new fire alarm systems in both new construction and existing buildings.
• Perform regular inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of fire alarm systems.
• Identify and repair malfunctions in fire alarm systems, ensuring they operate properly and comply with building codes and safety regulations.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for fire alarm systems, including emergency after-hours service.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and comprehensive information regarding system operations.
• Complete and maintain accurate, detailed service documentation.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
• Completion of a technical school program in Fire Alarm Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• NICET Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with local and state fire and electrical codes.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

• Knowledge of various fire alarm systems and their components, including detectors, control panels, and wiring.
• Experience working with electrical diagnostic tools, such as multimeters.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as OSHA regulations.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Attend and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
