Job Overview:

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Glendale, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing voice, data, and electronic communication systems. This role primarily focuses on commercial work, mainly new construction and big box retail within the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain voice and data cabling systems in commercial settings.
2. Test newly installed or relocated cables according to established procedures.
3. Perform routine maintenance on communication systems to ensure optimum performance.
4. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents for installations.
5. Follow industry standards, code requirements, and safety regulations at all times.
6. Train and mentor junior technicians to promote skill development.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
8. Collaborate with the team to complete projects within specified deadlines.
9. Provide excellent customer service and address client queries in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required. An Associate’s degree in a related field will be a plus.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in voice and data technology, specifically within the electrical industry.
3. Proficient in installing, testing, and maintaining voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
4. Knowledge of industry standards, code requirements, and safety regulations.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents.
6. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
8. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights when needed.
9. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
