Job Description:

Prime Partners is looking for a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Glendale, AZ. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, solve problems, and work effectively under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
3. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
4. Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
5. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
7. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well functioning lighting, intercom and other electrical systems.
8. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice profession.

Requirements:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Experience working as an electrician.
3. High school diploma.
4. Valid driver’s license.
5. Electrician degree from a technical college.
6. Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
7. Experience in residential, commercial and/or industrial electrical systems.
8. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and manual tools.
9. Knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
10. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
11. Good communication skills.
12. Ability to work in various environments and conditions.
