Prime Partners, a leading electrical service provider in Glendale, AZ, is currently seeking a qualified Voice & Data Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the electrical industry, with a focus on commercial work, predominantly new construction and big box retail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data and electronic communication systems.
2. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, switch gears, fans, and power generation equipment.
3. Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans to ensure they are safe and comply with state and local codes.
4. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and conduct repairs.
5. Collaborate with design and architectural teams to ensure the smooth installation of new systems.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks on voice and data systems.
7. Participate in the planning and execution of large-scale projects, including new construction and big box retail.
8. Provide quality customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the electrical industry, preferably with a focus on commercial work.
2. Advanced knowledge of voice and data systems, as well as electrical codes and guidelines.
3. Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
8. High school diploma or equivalent.
9. Valid driver’s license.
10. Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a definite plus.
