We are currently looking for a skilled Voice & Data Technician to join our team and contribute to our ongoing projects in Berkeley and the surrounding cities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, test, maintain, and repair voice and data systems, including PBX and VOIP systems.
2. Work closely with our design and engineering teams on new construction projects to ensure seamless integration of voice and data systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice and data hardware and software.
4. Perform cable terminations, installations, and inspections following industry standards.
5. Adhere to safety procedures and policies as per company guidelines and OSHA standards.
6. Provide exceptional customer service, answering client questions and ensuring client satisfaction.
7. Keep up-to-date documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
8. Stay abreast of the latest industry technology and trends to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Associate degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician in the commercial electrical industry.
3. Proficient in installing, testing, and troubleshooting PBX and VOIP systems.
4. Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to lift heavy equipment.
2. Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
3. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
