Job Description:

Prime Partners, a renowned name in the construction industry, is looking for skilled and dedicated Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians for commercial projects, focusing primarily on new office buildings and hospitals. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring all work is done in compliance with relevant codes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
4. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
5. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
6. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
7. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
8. Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
9. Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. Valid California state electrician license (Journeyman level for those applying as Journeyman Electrician).
2. Proven experience as an electrician.
3. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
4. In-depth understanding of electrical regulations, procedures, and principles.
5. Experience with electrical testing equipment.
6. Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.

Service Area:

The job requires you to perform services in Anaheim and nearby cities. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are prerequisites.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

Candidates should be familiar with a variety of tools and equipment such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, and wire strippers. Knowledge of testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes is also essential.
