Position: Fire Alarm Technician

Location: Anaheim, CA

Prime Partners is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems in commercial settings, particularly new construction office buildings and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, programming, and testing of new fire alarm systems in commercial buildings and hospitals.
2. Regular inspection and maintenance of installed fire alarm systems to ensure they are in good working order.
3. Troubleshooting and repair of defective fire alarm systems.
4. Maintenance of detailed and accurate records of all work performed.
5. Ensuring compliance with all local and state fire alarm codes and regulations.
6. Providing excellent customer service to all clients.
7. Training junior technicians and sharing knowledge with the team.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
3. NICET Fire Alarm Certification is highly preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
5. Valid CA driver’s license.

Service Area: You will be servicing Anaheim and surrounding cities within a 50-mile radius.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment necessary for the job, including but not limited to, multimeters, hand tools, and software for programming fire alarm systems.
2. Knowledge of a wide range of fire alarm systems and brands.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

1. Always adhere to safety procedures and protocols in compliance with OSHA standards.
2. Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
3. Attend regular safety training sessions and meetings.
