Job Description:

Prime Partners, a leading electrical service provider, is seeking a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial properties such as office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to assess project requirements.
• Ensure all electrical installations are compliant with local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify faulty equipment and potential safety hazards.
• Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices and less experienced electricians.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated costs.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician with a focus on commercial work.
• A valid state Journeyman Electrician license.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, local and national electrical codes, and safety protocols.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Service Area:

The successful candidate will primarily service Anaheim and surrounding cities. Some travel may be required for larger projects.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

Candidates must be proficient with a range of electrical tools and equipment, including multimeters, wire strippers, power drills, conduit benders, and more.

Safety Requirements and Protocols:

The successful candidate will be expected to adhere to all company safety policies and protocols. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, following lockout-tagout procedures, and ensuring all installations and repairs are compliant with local and national electrical codes.
