Job Description:

Prime Partners is currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This includes various types of electrical equipment, components, and fixtures.

Responsibilities:

1. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and specifications to understand the layout of electrical systems.
2. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical components and systems including circuit breakers, transformers, wiring, and other electrical devices.
3. Performing regular tests and inspections on electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
4. Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults and issues, and performing necessary repairs.
5. Adhering to all quality and safety codes while performing electrical work.
6. Training and mentoring apprentice electricians, as needed.
7. Working collaboratively with the team to complete large-scale projects.
8. Providing excellent customer service by answering queries and providing updates on progress.
9. Performing emergency repairs promptly to prevent or minimize system downtime.
10. Keeping up-to-date records of work performed, materials used, and other relevant information.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
3. Valid California Journeyman Electrician License.
4. Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
5. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
6. Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
9. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies.
10. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
11. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
