Security Technician at Prime Partners

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Security Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience in security system installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing security systems in new construction office buildings, hospitals, big box retail stores, and other commercial properties. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ and will service the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and service security systems in commercial properties.
2. Conduct regular inspections of security systems to ensure they are in perfect working condition.
3. Conduct site assessments and coordinate with other construction professionals to plan and implement security system installations.
4. Troubleshoot and repair security systems, including alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems, and other security equipment.
5. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when installing and maintaining security systems.
6. Provide technical support and training to users.
7. Prepare and maintain records of all installation and maintenance work done.

Required Qualifications and Certifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Technician.
2. Certification as a Security Technician from a recognized institution is preferred.
3. Knowledge of various security systems and their installation procedures.
4. Familiarity with local, state, and federal security and safety regulations.
5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
6. Valid driver’s license.

Specific Tools and Equipment Knowledge:

1. Proficiency in using various tools required for the installation and maintenance of security systems, such as drills, multimeters, wire strippers, etc.
2. Knowledge of different security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.

Safety Requirements:

1. Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols.
2. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
3. Participate in regular safety training sessions.
