Job Description: Prime Partners, a leading electrical contractor, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Pasadena, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers.
3. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
4. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
5. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
7. Comply with all safety and health regulations.
8. Conduct routine maintenance and preventative measures on electrical systems.
9. Coordinate with project managers and other team members on logistical details of projects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a journeyman electrician.
2. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
3. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
4. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
5. High school diploma or equivalent.
6. Successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship program required.
7. Journeyman Electrician license in the state of California.
8. Valid California driver’s license.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication.
10. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
