What You’ll Do as a Journeyman Electrician
At Prime Partners, our Journeyman Electricians are the backbone of our electrical projects. With a major multi-year project underway in Mesa, AZ, and additional projects in neighboring cities such as Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, and Scottsdale, we need skilled electricians to ensure our success. Your role will involve hands-on work, where you’ll bring your technical expertise to life by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Your Daily Tasks as a Journeyman Electrician
As a Journeyman Electrician with Prime Partners, you’ll dive into the heart of our construction projects. Your daily tasks will include:

Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Handle the installation and maintenance of commercial electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, lighting fixtures, and power circuits.

Conduit Work: Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT, rigid) for system installations, ensuring precise and efficient setups.

Wire Management: Perform wire pulling, labeling, and termination, ensuring neat, secure connections that adhere to project specifications.

Troubleshooting: Use tools like multimeters to troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring all circuits meet NEC code requirements.

Collaboration and Planning: Work collaboratively with other trades to plan and execute electrical installations within construction schedules.

Supervision and Guidance: Supervise apprentices and provide guidance on proper techniques and safety practices, fostering a learning environment.

Site Maintenance: Maintain organized and clean job sites, adhering to all safety and operational standards.

Safety Protocols: Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations to create a secure work environment.

What You Need to Be a Journeyman Electrician
To succeed as a Journeyman Electrician with Prime Partners, you’ll need:

Experience and Licensing: A valid journeyman electrician license and 3-5 years of field experience as a Journeyman Electrician.

Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NEC codes and proficiency with conduit bending and electrical tools.

Troubleshooting Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Leadership Abilities: The capability to manage apprentices and teams, ensuring effective communication and teamwork on site.
